That's a good point. OK. Now i'm asking $30k over MSRP! The buyer can have the pleasure of being ripped off by me instead of a dealer!

Why wouldn't you just exchange the "finder's fee aka markup" before going to the dealer and then say this is my buddy who's actually buying it.

Why not ask $100K over? It doesn't cost anything to ask. One might never know

Not sure this would work. Dealer might grab a decently specked GT3 instead of selling it to your designated person at msrp.
Any actual experience with this?

LOL. Great idea! if I get 100K over asking, i'll give you a 15% commission for the idea!

PS. To the folks that actually PM'ed me - NO I"M NOT SERIOUS!!!..... although for 100K, i probably would sell my allocation.
