Joking aside,I agree with everything you've said, that's my fear as well, that it will be a piece of crap. I have never driven one and never been interested to read reviews about it,but one is starting to wonder at some point... I believe one has to keep an open mind about everything...I am not married to Porsche.
which BMW are using the 10w-60?

And Chevy doesn't void warranty for track use, I believe.
CHevy doesnt void wrrty provided a strict maintenance is followed.

Easy to spot a fellow M3 owner by the oil he buys

Well there is no way to get 650 ft-lbs from 6.2L (or even 7.5L) without forced induction of some kind. Early rumors indicated twin-turbo, but all the recent ones say supercharger.

In a corvette?.. Usually in the passenger seat.

Seriously though, no way to make that much power without high revs which Chevy won't do.. Or high displacement. In today's world it seems unlikely.

It will be the intercooler blower based again on a revised TVS---look at the pics. The ZR1, if and when, will be the only possible candidate for the turbo and PDK or more likely ZF quick shift auto, but most likely blown also. Would love turbo, but until they find a way to get it to the ground it will prove fruitless for the most part IMHO.

100 Hp/Liter is easy with natural aspiration, but 105 Ft-Lbs/Liter is impossible (assuming it'll be 6.2L).

With the 620hp/650Ft-Lbs numbers, I'm guessing around 6.5k to 7k redline and torque peak around 4k (like ZR1).

Supposedly, they had decided to make the C7 mid-engined, but budget didn't allow for it once GM went bankrupt.

Superchargers are cool! I love the whine... Plus they don't obstruct the exhaust so the sound it's almost like NA... And no Turbo lag...
Change the stock pulleys with lighter ones and you should be good to go...

Changing the pulley to a smaller one is not about weight, it's about increasing supercharger speed through gearing, relative to the crankshaft (more boost).

The supercharger pulley diameter and crank pulley diameter sets the supercharger revs relative to the engine revs (it's fixed ratio, unlike turbos).

Definitely needed where I live at high altitude (turbos adjust for this automatically and are my preference for forced induction).
