Don't care for the look myself. Mine will not have a wart on the dash or on the roof. Although the 991 wart isn't as objectionable as the 997 version, to me the dash looks cleaner without it.

Granted the wart is almost useless, but it has become a part of the 911 image. Not getting it is kind of like getting a Ferrari, without the scuderia shields, rarely done and not advisable.
Sorry, but this is solely your opinion...not a fact

For me, I wouldn't have it if it were FREE

I wish they would incorporate the Sirius antenna in the mirrors rather than the roof.

Just saw two new GT3's one with the sport chrono and one without. Those of you who failed to get it will regret it. Given the new center counsel the sport chrono augments the look and gives the interior a rich look. Without it, the dash looks naked and out of character with the interior.

I like the 991 Gt3 sport chrono. I think it is integrated really well with the dash, unlike the 997 version. On the 997 it definitely looks like an after thought.

yes, vast flat surface seems empty for most ppl but i have many gund bears in tiny highly collectable sizes as well as hello kitty and ty bears sitting on all my dash. here is one example. and those think i deleted radio to save wt... hahaha, no i needed a home for my bears, and coffee holder..... more like bear holder.

i need a shrink...

formally the cyclop is indeed better engaged with the flat dash, but the palstic is of a different texture then dash top and cheap. full leather solves some of that issue, but the extra stitching causes distraction to me.

I saw 2 GT3s yesterday, one with and one without the sports chrono clock and I agree with with Nick. The clock is much better integrated with the dash on the 991s, it augments the sporty look of the car, and adds to the interior. This is subjective of course, but I'd look at a car with and without it, before you finalize your order.

I don't understand what Mooty is doing with stuffed dolls in his race car.
Maybe something I don't want to understand?
