Default Front wheel diffuser ground clearance

Not much clearance between the bottom of the front 'wheel diffuser' and the ground, especially say when the suspension is compressed a little. Seems less than in the prior gen car, which had quite different flanges that could take a bit of wear and tear.

These new ones are quite prone to breaking and cracking if they hit the ground.!Take a look. Going to buy a few spares as can see these getting lost pretty easily.

FLM911. Can you post how much when you get quote? also price of front centre splitter piece? I asked Euro dealer he still hasnt come back....just out of interest but i guess one day in the future I may need them too...we touched teh brake ducts on fast broken back roads in Europe a few times - they have developed a small crease on inside flat surface (or maybe it was there already as a designed concertina?). As mentione din my posts lift wouldnt have saved any of the scrapes to those unfortunately......

Problem looks to be that its a plastic 'box' type construction and so if it does ground then it'll probably crack versus scrape depending on impact. Really looks like it won't take much to break these things. Hence it's a disposable item really just like brake ducts. Be interesting to see how these things hold up on track going over kerbs as they will hit first ahead of the wheels which will then compress into the car under load making it worse on long kerbing.
