I think it's the same config as in the rear of my Cayenne; two plastic strips with a net in between. Strictly speaking, it's not removable. Even though it's free I passed on it. I didn't think I'd ever use it and it looked a bit out of place in the car, IMHO.

It seemed strange to put a storage net there. I can't see putting anything in there.

Any one order the Light Design Package? What additional lighting is included? Any one have any feedback on this?

To be honest, I ordered it and have no real clue how much cooler the additional lighting will look...

Yeah--I figured if some extra accent lighting, why not?

Did anyone get optional lighted door sills? I didn't, but was on the fence. Options were tallying up.

Again, I have it in my Cayenne which came with a lot of stuff in a package that had some things I really wanted at a reduced price, along with a few other other things I probably wouldn't have ordered otherwise.

Anyway, it's very low level "mood lighting" in the areas described in silverrules post above. You pretty much need to turn it up all the way to even notice it's on, at least in the Cayenne, and it adds a kind of dim glow.

Personally I didn't consider it at least in part because I was too busy blowing my original budget on PCCB's....

So is anyone glad they got the storage net on other P-cars?

I could see putting your sunglasses case in it?

I must admit, I'm on the fence as to how it would look on the car

Wait a minute...late to the party... Are you guys talking about the GT3 options list here or the newest S550?

Good point.. But, if you get full leather then the "mood lighting" really fits IMO. I love that dim lighting in my BMW wagon at night.. Makes me feel all knight rider-ish... Adds at least 5hp when it's dark.

And let's be serious for a second... $500 is a few tanks of gas...

Personally I did not choose it because I have seen it on a Cayenne as well. Didn't look good enough to pay for IMHO. Maybe in 991 versions it's different. Somebody who can confirm this?

I did - last thing I added to my spec. Saw them on a 991 in the dark and thought it was a nice touch. Sort of pricey at 900 but that's the problem with having wayyyyy too much time before order locked. As for the luggage net I ordered it but in hindsight i agree it looks a bit out of place and remember macca said there is already tons of storage space in the car.

I got personalized sills, in carbon, illuminated. Think it is an elegant touch. I have them (standard) on my M6 Gran Coupe and it is cool.

I also added the LED interior lights to my M6 GC and our 2013 Cayenne. Not sure why they use the other standard bulbs anymore - a cheap and very worthwhile upgrade. Transformed the interiors of both cars. 991 comes with LEDs inside...don't recall what the Light Design package is but I got it in case...
