Am I the only one that has been declined to place a deposit on a RS? My dealer (with whom I purchased a new at the time 997.1 GT3) isn't taking deposits or order list on a model yet to be released. Any others with similar experience? Advice?

Thanks!

i disagree having owned both 3.8 gt3 and 4.0 gt3 rs #362, I think the new 991 rs will be perhaps the most rare and difficult to come by, if you can get one, keep it. I think most dealerships will not receive an allocation.

Great move on 960 deposit! Just ordered 991TS will be ready for change when 960 arrives. Putting call into dealer tomorrow to get on list.

Thanks for the heads up.

Why do you think it will be so scarce?

I've heard a few rumors about it being $40K over the GT3? So that's almost Turbo S price? But just hearsay and rumors.

Very curious to see what constitutes a 50k uplift. Perhaps forced CCBs and other options. Or......4.0L engine? Yes please!!
