Default another architect

Had to use the "engineer" tag - sounds like enough of us to have our own category!

I went from engineer to lawyer to business owner (cause I own the firm). If I were still an engineer, I prolly wouldn't be shopping 991 GT3s, so since you guys can swing one means there was a career path in engineering nobody told me about. LOL.

I just got promoted at my Oil company so the most logical decision was to go buy a 20K marked up GT3 for January delivery. Those type of decisions is why they pay me the big bucks fellas.

LOL, They told me about it w/ a 24hr notice. it's called getting laid off and going into independent consulting for me. Guess that makes me a small business owner too.

Manifold had it right - artist, then I saw Business Owner so I went with that since I own my own firm with a massive staff of one - me.

It's a new world if you are a sharp SW engineer/mathematician willing to take risks in new ventures.

OK after discussing this topic with my wife who is also an architect we both agreed that Architects are NO engineers although she has taken mostly engineering courses to earn her degree.
