Default Am I to late to the party?

Ive been researching this car now for a few days and loving all the reviews. Am I to late to get on a list? If not, when is the soonest I can get into one? Never ordered a car like this before? Whats the proper procedure?

thx

The short answer is that you may be too late to the party. If you can find a dealer at this point who still has an allocation or pre-ordered car available, it's very likely they will be asking a premium over MSRP. But there is hope if you are willing to be flexible on location and price. A few folks on the forum have had some luck even at this late date after doing a lot of legwork. Call every dealer in as wide-ranging an area as you are willing to go to buy a car. Good luck.

If you seriously want one you will find one and the challenge will be not to pay the over MSRP. The power of WILL my friend. It works for me every time, but ya where have you been?

Am I to late to get on a list?
Your too late for the initial allocations - but there will be plenty more to come. Even with the 997.2 there were allocations to be had after the initial launch of the car. The positives in waiting is that sport buckets and PTS will probably be available.

I would imagine that if you walked into Porsche Beverly Hills and asked " how much for that GT3 and when they provide you with the answer, you say "OK, sold" you will have one. Sure there are a few dealers that have spec cars coming in. Usually optioned to the max and expect a "market adjustment".

Sounds good. Gives me enough time to convince the wifey
Can someone describe the sport bucket seats? What are the most common "must have" options? Pccbs?

Not too late, but the question will be how much extra coin will it cost you?

If you could get MSRP for any allocation I'd be shocked.

And I did them BOTH! Because racecars have them. Yep, that's it...

I got a late dealer ordered 11 GT3RS it had 35k in options.

I agree it will be tough to get one at MSRP.

I ended up ordering the painted keys as well but removed the cap. This forum is contagious.
