I thought when you ordered silver painted wheels the center cap had the Porsche crest and not the Gt3 cap.

They all look stunning! My Guards Red GT3 arrived at the dealer in the UK over two weeks ago but I still haven't seen it yet because I'm in Chicago for the time being

Now that they've landed in Chicago, I'm so tempted to pop in to take a look if the dealer/owners will let me

Lumber: Congratulations! Thank you for posting the pictures.

I'd like to ask a couple of questions if that's okay. The first is whether your car came from the factory with Dunlop or Michelin tyres? The second question is whether you've had the underbody sealed? With a cold snap on the cards for Chicago within hours, it was a very smart move switching immediately to Sottozeroes. I may consider doing the same on mine.

I had a GR 1989 944 Turbo S and it's the same as the GR on my 2007 997 GT3. Just like the 997 series, the new 991 GT3's look great in any colour. Congrats to the lucky owners; nearly seven years on, I can still remember how I felt inside, giddy with excitement, when picking the car up from the dealership. The other memory that hasn't diminished is the first time the exhaust valve opened; I knew at that moment that this was going to be a really special car. Seven years later, the bond has only grown stronger

The Guards Red looks great, but the yellow side-markers need to go. The Guards Red, yellow calipers, and orange side-markers combination looks like Ronald McDonald.

The GT Silver looks fantastic. I really like the Guards Red too.

Stop up there. The yellow and silver are still there. They won't care one bit.

Car came with michelins. I gave up an r8 that I drove year round. I plan to do the same with the gt3. Hence the winter tires.

No underbody coating or clear bra for me.

What a great car. I will echo the sentiments that this pdk s is different than anything out there. Absolute blast to drive at any speed...

How was the R8 as a winter car? That is my second choice if I can't pick up a 991 GT3 as a DD here in snowy Park City...

Thanks,

I had both a v8 coupe and a v10 spyder. 6sp mt. Sad to see them go.

Best all around supercar out there. I put 25k miles in a year on the two of them. Sottozeroes in the winter and no issues.

Add an exhaust and you're done.

How did they compare? I've heard the v8 is a better car in some ways, more balanced, better sound. Would be cool to get the somewhat rare perspective of the guy who has owned both contemporarily

Awesome! I live near Tahoe and drive my Turbo year round. Not sure ill do that with the GT3 due to all the steep hills. Looks incredible.

Been using an R8 for a long time now. Its actually pretty good in the snow and crap obviously provided you put winter tires on it. The new one with DCT will be fantastic

Snow?!?!?!?!!! Is that snow?!?!?!!! A GT3 is NOT to be driven on snow! Thank the heavens I live in sunny California. Now _this_ is my idea of a winters drive!

Hey,

Congrats on the car!

What size sottozero's? I can't seem to find a matching set on tire rack for this car!

Thanks again, and enjoy in good health buddy!

The yellow PCCB rotors look great on guards red. I had a red 997 C4S with PCCB and absolutely loved it.
