FWIW my registration papers says it's Euro 6 compliant. Could be a mistake but the registration authorities tend to not take these things lightly.

The 911 GT3 environment page states the GT3 is Euro 5 compliant, so as a minimum the GT3 has not been tested for Euro 6. There is a difference in the way a big V10 is geared. At highway speeds its probably running at a lower RPM due to higher low end torque. if you figure each revolution produces an amount of particulate and pollutant gases, more RPM at cruise can make it harder to pass emissions regs. If the 991 GT3 is already Euro 6 compliant, what is squeezing production for Porsche and why have they asked UK dealers to return deposits?
Ryan I'm keeping a sliver of hope alive that there will be a 991.2 GT3. |
