Richard, My car is the same as yours except mine will have Black belts (harnesses to be added) should arrive in about 2 weeks. I'm a Member of AMP also and would love to show you around. Allan

Ok, makes sense. I was considering the basic membership when I lived in atl, but then I planned out how many track days/month I would have to do on my bike to amortize it and it didn't make sEnse for me. I've driven the track once in a lowly audi a5 and really enjoyed it... I go to atl tomorrow for Xmas holidays and will probably go drive go karts there

Does the owner's manual detail the centerlock on/off procedure? If you can take a break from driving long enough would be interesting to know differences from the 997 CL's.
Here you go, just posted in a new thread:

my delivery. They will pass VERY slowly!!! LOL - How much does the wing restrict the view through the inside rear view mirror? Is your sight line above or below the wing? Is the wing angle adjustable?
What is your serial number? Did you also opt for larger 90L Fuel Tank? Have you found a good switched take-off point for the Radar Detector power lead? Thanks again for your posts.
Great questions!

Rear wing - doesn't restrict like before in 997. It comes across the lower 1/3rd at least the way I have the set setup. Visibility is better. Id got used to the old one blocking most of the rear view, didn't notice how much better it is until you asked the question and I just checked.

Wing definitely adjustable although haven't played with it yet.

I took the standard fuel tank, I'd never use a bigger one as its only 1 hour 20 mins to VIR, and I never go on track with a full tank.

Havent explored the hookup points for a radar detector, probably 991 standard hookup points near the mirror but not sure.

The 991 has a fuse box on each side of the cabin just like the Cayenne, doesn't it? Anyway, the fuse box is always where I've gone for a switched power source.

Congratulations Richard. I saw Eric a couple weeks back and he told me your good news.
Can't wait to hear your car screaming at 9K along the homestretch at VIR!
