PDI has pretty much been covered above... They remove a battery isolator that is installed from factory for transportation, charge the battery, fuel the car, take it out of transportation mode, check levels, attach front lip spoiler, pressures and torque wheels then unwrap and detail... Certainly not much excitement to be had in the process...

DME reports would be a waste of time as the car is apparently in transportation mode until it gets to the dealer, with enough fuel to get on and off the boat... Not going to be abused and no dealer will abuse it before they run your requested DME...

What Chris reports is what I recently heard as well. Supposedly the cars are limited electronically to 9mph so the dock workers won't be pulling a Ferris Bueller parking attendant job on your car.....

Too bad we aren't in the same city/same dealer as we could have taken shifts!

Shoot, that leaves mine for test-drives . I guess I'll have to take a day off at work to be there too. I knew there was a good reason!

I think that's a good idea Max, in view of the fact that I heard they were selling tickets for a chance to test drive your car....
