If money is not a criteria than not a tuff choice for me. But to be able to build a car like the GT3 at almost half the price is amazing.

Motortrend published the "2013 Motor Trend's Best Driver's Car" in their November 2013 issue. The competition did not include the C7 Corvette or the 991 GT3.

The Porsche 911 C4S was selected.

I think the 2014 MT Best Driver's Car is almost a year away. Lots of cars to come in that time so I would have to lean towards Journalists like what's new and latest, probably the MT 2014 Driver's car will be something else.

Actually a good question between the Speciale and the GT3. Based on the previous few years, the GT3 will kill it....but the fezza has a chance.

I think a very serious contender could be the new BMW M3 sedan/M4 coupe.

3.0L Turbo Inline 6 making approximately 430HP and 369 lb-ft of torque. And the weight of the M3 sedan is supposed to be under 1500kg (3307 lbs). The formal specs will be revealed very soon.

They haven't selected anything yet as this competition will take place next year.
458 and 911 have been Drivers Car of the Year though.

I wonder if Motortrend will also include 918, P1 and LaFerrari in the test, I hope not, these are superlimited superexpensive machines.

What would be great is to see the new M3/M4 in the competition as well!

And I am also very curious about the upcoming Z06.

P.S. As far as dreaming is concerned, I am "imaginary" selecting between M4 and 997 GT2. :-)

I'm not holding my breath for the M3/M4 in that crowd - Turbo is only going to make things worse in terms of drivers car at the track. The one opportunity they have is the weight reduction. BMW Ms have been doing very badly in that test since the 1M. I really hope they turn it around.
