Default yellow painted tachometer possible?

Does anyone know if it's possible to have just the center dial, the tach, painted a different color? I like the black gauges, but would love just the tach to contrast (yes, before you mention it, like on a Ferrari)... I'm visualizing an agate grey car with yellow pccb, full leather with a sober grey/silver stock interior and a beautiful loud yellow tach in center as the only color on the interior.

Seems like a reasonable request. See if your dealership can coordinate this through the "exclusive options" program.

Less. I hope! The painted guages option (not including the sport chrono clock) is a $860 selection. For 3 guages. And you only want 1 guage.

The problem I see, is that Porsche only offers Guards Red and White for the GT3. In the other 991 variants, Racing Yellow is also offered. So, it might be harder to get than I first thought.

I say save money and do it post production in the States. You can probably save up to 70% of the Scalping, Porsche Tax, that will be charged in Germany!

I agree. You will able to get these from folks like Suncoast Porsche in the US.

Contact FVD, and ask them. They make the non-OEM colored (white, black, red, orange, yellow, and silver) dials that Suncoast sells.

Not sure of their US location. I also remember seeing a Rennlister who was associated with FVD in the past.

Not a bad mod. I don't like them all colored, but I think you're on to something with just painting the Center Tach gauge a different color.
