It's great that there are so many options. But I still like the red lights better. I do find it funny that 7 years ago the lights were partially clear and Porsche was selling lights that were completely red as an upgrade option.

So we should all buy white GT3's? Sounds boring and makes me wonder why Porsche bothers to offer other colors. Almost no one races pure white cars. The logical reason for providing white spec race cars is to provide a nice blank slate for graphics, numbers, additional paint etc. and is the reason why white sometimes looks unfinished to me. But that's my own biased POV and doesn't really mean squat.
This the-color-I-like-is-best thing is fun but pointless. Hopefully people are getting the colors they really want on this car, not the ones they think are "safe", the ones they think make them look like real racers, or the ones their peers approve of.

Waaaay too much consensus going on here for my taste.. Can't we have a show-off from Dubai say some silly stuff to liven the place up a bit? Or even just an argument over how to pronounce the word "Porsche-A"... Anything, please.

I called the part department and to order clear tail or STD light later it will cost a whopping $780 for each side. Ordering the clear light at the time of order is around $680 for both sides. Question to Porsche is why does it cost $680 extra for clear light at the time of the order if later they cost the same? Goes to show you!

Alex, you obviously don't have an appreciation for a classic motorsport color combo. Probably too young to remember the days when Shell was heavily involved in racing. Not to mention Momo/Ferrari and the DHL Porsche Spyders....

Red and yellow go together well I think. My Gt3 is guards with yellow calipers.
Cool 962(956?) pics. To me it has the best lines of any prototype ever made. The current Audis are butt ugly imo.

Amen.
Since I'm buying a car not a coral snake I'm not too worried. But that plate idea is very clever; it would drive people nuts trying to figure it out.....

my comments are borne out of jest and frustration at being still far from receiving my car. Jealousy also.. Yea, definitely some jealousy there. Oh, and envy, but that's it. But mostly jest.. Red and yellow look great.. License plate?... MOMO, or McMOMO? Jk!!!! Ok, going to sleep.. Have ACL surgery tomorrow.. Will have some recovery time to harass people about their color choices. Me.. Still undecided.
Ps: I hate venomous snakes

On a more serious note, good luck with your surgery!
