Poor little GTR's are creeping up in price. Didn't they crack the six figure mark finally for current model year?
And they still haven't fixed the issue with their crappy VDC, or whatever it's called, Transmission - which is laughable because Porsche would never allow that to happen. They would totally fix the issue or not release it.

I actually thought the Turbo S looked pretty good in this video. The Blue one looked like butt cheeks in the EVO video with the Mclaren.
They are going to have to do something about the headlights though, with the cars getting bigger and wider, the front is starting to look horrific with two small lights placed on the end corners. Talk about VW.

I do prefer the more muscular look of the 997 TT. While the 991 looks too refined and sleek by comparison, it is nevertheless a beautiful vehicle in its own right. The GTR is crude looking with unappealing hard lines that make it look like a grotesquely modded Chevy Cobalt.

However, tables are now turned. The little air inlet now looks out of place, and 991TT not that visually attractive.
I don't get the appeal of the 991 TT. Way over priced and not that good looking.
Still prefer it to the GTR of course.

I'm sure I'll get flamed for this, but I've always wanted a car with the engine, chassis, and handling designed by Porsche for performance and reliability and the car's interior, exterior, and sports exhaust designed by Ferrari for the beauty and the sound.
That would be the perfect car.
Ferraris always get my blood pumping when I look at them and listen to their engines. However, I want a car that I can actually drive most places and won't break down on me.
First world problems.....

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I personally love the look of the 997 TT. It hits my buttons from every angle. No, it is not as eye catching as a Ferrari, which to me is excessively out there and ostentatious. I dislike being so noticed, preferring instead to be more anonymous. The Turbo is distinctive, muscular, aggressive but still fluid and purposeful. I like it, I like it a lot.

I was very close to buying one despite my love of NA cars. It was near the end of the 997 lifespan and I decided to hold out for 991 turbo and Porsche made the thing uglier. Not happy about that.
