Default wheel/tire fitment question

hello, maybe it is to soon to ask but i would like to know if this wheels/tires set may fit a 991 gt3? I have been using them in my 997.2 gt3 and would like to keep them for the 991 if possible.

Too early to answer but the new car has a wider track (possible issue with offsets), different suspension geometry and set up (issue for wheel clearance) and different CL system so the mounting and fastening surfaces will likely be quite different... In short: I don't fancy your chances...

This is my guess as well, they will be different enough that the aftermarket will have to come out with new wheels. I stayed with the red 380mm brakes in the hopes of getting 18's or 19's with a better selection of R compounds.

BTW, I emailed Hoosier re 20s. Here is the response

Good morning and good question. We have tossed this idea around the management and engineering team for several years but no progress has been made on offering a 20” R6

I suggest that everyone who even remotely fantasizes about tracking their new 991 GT3 call or write Hoosier to demand 20" R6 & A6 tires in an appropriate size for the car. Gotta show them there is demand in the market!

Jeff Speer is one of the managers and he responded to my inquiry:
