Sorry, no experience with that one. One heck of a contraption though. Looks like it would solve a small space storage problem, but be just about useless for doing any work on your vehicle.

I often work on my cars by myself so i went with a 4 post. Found a used Challenger, 12,000 lbs working rating from a transmission shop that went under. I fabricated custom 8' approach ramps and added two 6000 lbs working Rotary air over hydraulic bridge jacks.

I need a neighbor like you, and to know what your drink of choice is!

You may submit your resume for consideration as a neighbor (high performance cars should be listed near the top) I've got a couple I would consider trading out.

For casual drinking Guiness on tap is always good, when getting serious Rum is required.

Where do i send my resume?

Guiness on tap, no problem. I'll keep a keg top heavy and cold 24/7. Rum, no problem either, as long as you don't mind me drinking tequila or vodka martinis.

Cocoa, FL ... land of year 'round sportscar driving. Roads are a little flat and uninteresting, but Sebring, Daytona, PBIR, Homestead are all close with Road Atlanta and VIR not much farther.

Watch your offer. Guiness is much harder to tap correctly and requires a different system

Just purchased a BendPakHD-9STX. Less than 2 weeks old, great service, excellent product and installation.

Ah, nice. I've been looking at BendPak, as well.

Any chance you can post pics of the 9STX installed? I'm trying to figure out if I need the 9STX vs the regular 9ST (non-extra tall version).

I purchased the taller model so that the Raptor could fit underneath if needed. It also comes with an optional caster kit, so you can move it from one side of the garage to another (unloaded of course).

The GT3 is due to be delivered in Feb., so it will occupy the top position above the Boxster when it is not being used.

I have had an HD-9ST for about 6 months. Got to say, as nice as the BendPak people seem to be, I would not get another. The air lock system is a PITA; they have replaced the air cylinder and release valve twice, and it still does not hold air. They have left it up to me to chase down the leak. And the ramps flop down so that you cannot drive a car underneath. You must either remove the ramps (also a PITA) or install an optional kit that reduces the flop (but not completely); either way you then lose your ANSI rating.

Not happy with the install either, but that is a local issue.

I have a small portable electric 5 Gal. 145 PSI air compressor nearby, just keep it connected to the lift, seems to work fine.

Plenty of other lifts on the market that do not require a compressor running every day in order to release the safety locks for a car being stored.

Hmm, ugh, ok now I'm back to not being sure about BendPak.

Thank you both for the details.
