I think you'd see more buyers going for black wheel option if they were satin finish as opposed to gloss.

So glad I'm getting agate. Low key for the police, just enough show for the people who know. If the world was perfect, I get guards red with no speed limit.

Thanks for the pics Macca, you are always on top of intel. We love you man.

Dude. Thanks for the kind words. Trying to always bring something new onto these threads since day one and will continue to do so. Agate I must confess looks really good especially with the red brakes. It shows the shape better than the flat colours IMO.

Fair call Nizer. Sorry for the verbal assault. I woke up with fire in my belly this morning (am here). Must have been too many Steinlagar last night!

Agate does look good. In the color poll thread I voted for it at the time. Saw it on a new 991 and was slightly underwhelmed, but still a very nice color and I could have been happy with it.

Thing is, it's hard to find a color that doesn't look good on this car. Every time I see a different one I think, "hey, maybe I should have ordered that...."

I ordered Agate and agree with the comments about it looking good and menacing. Have doubts regarding the red calipers though, think I might have mine painted black for a more menacing appearance, this would also match the black headlights I ordered.

A neighbor has a 997 GT3 in what looks to be Agate Gray. Red calipers and belts. Looks amazing. Looks low key and mean and the red really jumps out.

Every day I see an other picture of the 991GT3 I think "What if…. " It was just so hard to choose just one color. :bang head:

In a perfect world my car changed color every day

About the pictures of Agathe I have to agree, they are looking very good. This will be a very exclusive color I guess. On the poll on an other forum only one of 50+ customers ordered Agathe.

Thanks Macca, please post every picture you'll find

I am doing Agate Grey and currently have the Gloss black wheels optioned on the car. My previous two cars had satin black wheels on them. I figure I would try the Gloss. I do plan on picking up another set of wheels anyways.

Worst case the dirt and brake dust will make them looks matte anyways.....

I wish they were Satin AND the barrels were painted black.

If this is the last GT3 I guess I need to get both a C4S and a GT3...
