Ok, I'll jump in to the discussion of GT3 colors in general. I agree with just about everything frayed said above.

Had black cars, PITA.

Have a white 991S now. Nice color, but I find that I like it less every day.

GT3 needs pop, forget stealth. You want stealth, drive a Buick. Agate is a beautiful color - on a big Merc.

Silver? I saw a nice, shiny, 997 Turbo the other day in silver, but it just kind of disappeared into the background. Boring. Having said that, I do think Rhodium is a nice shade of silver. get it on your Panamera.

Mexico or Gulf Blue would be awesome but as much as I have learned to deal with Porsche's option pricing, I just can't justify $5500 for a paint choice.

To get the pop, it came down to red or yellow. I went the more conservative route with red, but I will still turn my head whenever I see a yellow GT3.

I would include Basalt black, Agate grey and Sapphire blue in your choice.
Red, yellow are hard to sell. Silver is very plain and common. White is a easy sell but also going to be to common. Black is to hard to maintain.

Oh really?

Not my experience at all.

Talking to the guys at RPM in Houston Red and Black are top color choices in the secondary market.

So you are saying that b/c you and others wouldn't own a red (or yellow) car that they are hard to resell?

Yes, that will be me driving by in the yellow when you turn your head I have already tried red on both a 991 and 458 with no regrets whatsover, so next car has to be yellow for a change.

Both colors are polarizing, but that means there are people who want those colors with a passion, and come resale time it doesn't take long to attract that buyer, so I wouldn't be concerned about resale with either.

This, and frayed's comment, matches my POV exactly. I would have given yellow a harder look but my wife would have divorced me.....

Unless you select some off the wall color, I doubt very much color will have an impact on resale. Go with the color that makes you happy and proud to own the car. Do not select color for the next owner.

Jeff Zwart wanted a stealth GT3 RS 4.0. He went with this darker shade of blue instead of getting a Buick.

While I would prefer something more bright on a GT3, I love Zwart's 4.0 despite it being a Cayenne color. I would have preferred Azure or Bali blue from the 356 days.

Seinfeld's toned down Silver 4.0 isn't too bad as well....he didn't even want the 4.0 steering wheel.

No question. I'd take that over a Buick as well.

Drifting, basically at the end of the day as you can see everyone is telling you to choose the same color as they chose for their own car. You may want to check the color poll and you can see white is the color of choice

cheers
