Default speed vs. signal yellow

Couple pictures that show the difference better than most.

Interesting to see the 356 in Ruby Red. My '84 Carrera was Ruby Red metallic and was much more of a burgundy color; closer to the Aubergine on the long hood 911....

It just takes time to test your particular desired 'color' and might never be approved due to technical paint issues of fading, etc. Or you might lose your production slot if the process takes too long.

But regardless my stated reservations at the manner in which the program is currently administered by PCNA here in the United States, I still believe 'Porsche Exclusive' is truly one of the greatest bespoke services in all of European auto business today! And I urge Rennlisters to get to know all the capabilities of the 'Exclusive' department with regards to special custom orders. The creation of a highly personalized Porsche will be a unique experience that might be one of the most gratifying purchase decision that you ever make in your lifetime! I speak from some limited experience on the subject:

Where have I been? Here in the Left Coast carefully saving all of my government EBT cards so that I can put a proper wine & beer party for all my Rennlist 'homies' when you all drive up to the Monterey Porsche Parade in June of 2014!

Lichtgrün (Birch Green) is tempting! But I am still haunted by the memories of my old '07 'Signal Green' Carrera S Coupe. I wouldn't mind duplicating that on a 991. The problem is that, as of my last inquiry to Sascha in August, there is not yet the possibility to order a proper 'green' color deviating stitching on the interior. The closest stitching color is the yellowish 'Lime Gold Metallic'.

So I wait. For the time being, I am enjoying my Audi R8 Spyder!

Saludos,
Eduardo

P.S The avatar of JSF101 shows his '12 Spyder. It is the only 'Speed Yellow' Spyder produced and one of only four PTS Spyders built for US (3 in '12 & 1 in '11). The other PTS Spyders were a '12 in 'Riviera Blue', a '12 in 'Azure Blue' and a '11 in 'Meteor Grey' (PCNA Show Car).
