EVO Magazine awards 991 GT3 its coveted Car of the Year Award (eCOTY)

Understood, I'd be buying it mainly for the track, but chimed in on the street use since that topic came up and since there are reasons for concern that it won't be quite as much fun on the street as the 997 GT3 at realistic speeds. BUT, if I had to have a 991 mainly for street use, the GT3 would certainly be my choice (considering the value, better steering, better looks, lower depreciation, suitability for occasional track use, etc.). So there you go, the vast majority of you guys will be very happy with the car.

OMG. That last 1.5 minutes reminds me of the famous french movie Rendezvous, filmed in 70s through the early mornig Paris streets (sound track Ferrari GT0)!

sorry, doesn't do anything for me.
sideways is slow-ways. everybody in videos is doing the sideways showboating and have a giggle.
burning tyres all day? on every corner?
maybe a pre-pubescent boy's idea of fun, but not mine.
also, you can hear short upshift alot of the time; whether that is the driver or the pdk....is open to debate. i prefer analogue cars like the mini gp on those roads.

There's no debate, mate. In any auto mode, as long as you kept your foot in it, even my old PDK box wouldn't short shift. In auto sport+ mode it would stay in any given gear until redline. Any short shifting you hear in the vid is driver initiated.

I watched all of parts 1 and 2, and this Jethro guy started annoying me after a while.

LOL. You guys are priceless.
Jimmy. Your forgiven. You don't have many roads like that to enjoy over there from what Ive seen. NZ is covered in them.
Jethro only used the paddles.
Showboating. Gezz I guess every successful motor magazine and programme in the world could be accused of falling foul of this one.
Manifold. Your idea of entertainment is obviously different from mine. I thought he delivered quite well, given he was driving the **** off the things as he was speaking non scripted (no auto cue here).
