I think you do have that right. My prediction is no intro before the EOY, maybe not even until Geneva in March. I expect Porsche has enough on their production plate already, especially given the delays for some customers on the GT3....

The whole GT production will be delayed. I have a very reliable source within the company-higher ranks. If I tell you whom that person is and why is there a delay I would have to kill you...

FWIW the ROW markets (which is 75% of sales) is telling a rather different story from what some proponents on this forum are saying. The quotas in my region have not been filled (from firsthand conversations with those with said quotas). Repeat not filled. 991 GT3 sales in my territory are tracking to about 50% of the 997.1 GT3 back in 2006 despite what's objectively a wider audience and more capable hardware.
Part of me is reasoning that that customers are holding out for the RS. Or they're at a temporary loss with the new vehicle's positioning. We've all seen the huge ongoing PR campaign, and who knows, maybe it'll gain traction and sell cars, or maybe it won't. Maybe momentum will build as CoTY awards start showing up in a few months. Either way, the present state of affairs has probably given PAG pause as to what they do with the RS...
