I cant imagine either of you regretting that decision ... whats not to like about those PCCBs esp those new 410mm(?) fronts ... I mean holy sh*t ... what will the stopping power be like with those?

Chris, I admit I did a 180 on the PCCB's. I'm not proud of it....

I was tempted from the first but my practical side kept saying, yeah, but $9K to replace perfectly good brakes?? Still, reading review after review that raved about them and said they were a must have, seeing them in pics, and finally in person at the Quail in Monterey, I weakened and gave in. It didn't help that they're on the car in my avatar and desktop wallpaper.

Oh well, it's only money.

Larry, nothing like positive reinforcement.

Thanks a bunch Larry! I know you're right, but was hoping for a voice of reason. I have a lot of time to decide, but seriously think I will go that route.

Wish I could have helped with that, but I'm past reason and well into....

Looks great! Don't forget Mobil Phone Prep or Bluetooth won't work with your phone. No axle lift?

991dev

You might want to add Mobile Phone preparation which is a zero cost option and I believe is necessary for bluetooth to function in the car. Car sounds great, when is your build?

no lift. never missed it on my last one. thanks for the mobil phone reminder. Thought it was determined it was auto-added when selecting BT.

Sorry, but it's not 3 but 6 weeks delayed. I've seen the actual screens from Porsche Germany's tracking system indicating the earlier week 34 production finish 2 months ago. Now's it's 6 weeks later.

The info that mobile phone prep is automatically added with PCM was posted recently, but unless something has changed since I placed my order, I don't think that's right. My sales rep had to add it.

When you choose PCM in the configurator, the Sound package pops up automatically, but mobile phone prep still doesn't.
