I've tried to search youtube for this video but I end up with only every other video.
Can someone post the hyper link or the exact name of the video as it appears on you tube?

Ok stupid question but I only access rennlist on my mobile phone. You tube hyperlink doesn't show up on I phone nor does a YouTube link even if it was working.

I have to confess that I feel somewhat responsible, in a very small way, for the less than stellar proportions of the 991 Turbo's widebody. Let me explain...
We all know car manufacturers keep an eye on many a forum.
Years ago, before the release of the 997.2, I had commented on several car forums (the last probably being Teamspeed) my many desires for the next gen 911(991). One of those desires was for a distinct difference in body shapes for the next gen Carrera, C4, GT3's & Turbo/GT2.
I even went so far as to post a few pics of other enthusiast's renderings of the next gen Turbo. In several of the best renderings, the back-end was VERY wide and had an almost Cayman-ish shape to it.
I wanted the C4 & GT3 to be wider than the "base" Carrera, and the Turbo/GT2 to be even wider still. And look what we have today... Seems that my wishes were absolutely granted.
But as much as I don't 'Hate' the look of the new Turbo's hips, I do now wonder if it would be possible or probable if Porsche could somehow maintain the beautiful Cokebottle / Hourglass shape of the 991 GT3's bodyshell - yet increase it to the Turbo's width, and maintain the rounded shape - as opposed to the flattened hips of the 991 Turbo?
Maybe if they come out with a "GT3RS 4.0" version of the 991 - maybe it will retain the beauty of the current GT3, which is perfection. One could only hope...
Thanks for reading the rant.

Agreed. Mezger lumps are reserved for motorsport products now.
Also don't expect to see a 9A1 displacement bump for the upcoming RS; too early in the product cycle. More likely in the 991.2 GT3.
