Default 991 GT3 in Monterey?

The Historics, Pebble, Legends, Quail, etc are coming up in Monterey in a couple of weeks. Has anyone heard whether Porsche will be showing the 991 GT3 at any of the venues?

MIke, I am sure Porsche customer service would know. My bet is that it will not be. Doesn't suit the theme of the event.

Great question... I called my dealership to ask if there were any events planned & they had no clue.

I suspect that there will be one at the Quail event at least.

I'm not making it to Pebble but will be at the Historics and Legends. I was hoping Porsche would show up with one at Laguna Seca.

By the way, this is a 60th anniversary of the Corvette, or so I've read, there will be a gazillion Vette enthusiasts and cars attending.

It would make sense for them to run some hot laps and ridealongs, like Goodwood. Strangely, PCNA just doesn't seem to get that done. They do the VIP things, they do the boxed display at Pebble and their showing at the track is "muted."

Mike: The 991 gt3 & 50th Anniversary 991 should be at the 'Porsche Zentrum' by Wednesday, prior to showings at The Quail on Friday & Pebble on Sunday (on the putting green in front of Pebble's Lodge)!

For the past few years the temporary 'Porsche Zentrum' was held at the lobby of the Quail Lodge near the Baja Cantina restaurant in Carmel Valley. Now that The Quail Lodge is back in business, I don't know exactly where they will hold it...but someone here should know since Porsche should have been scheduling test drives for potential customers for weeks by now!

PS Mike, I owe you some beers over the lack of a bucket seat on the '14 gt3. Hope we can meet up & you can collect!
