Default Canadian Allocations

Just curious to see if any Canadians have gotten confirmation of allocations/build dates.

I dropped by my dealer today to get an update and he checked the system and low and behold, it looks like they are getting 3 but with no build dates known at this point. All 3 are spoken for and I showed up as #1 in the system

Any other Canucks out there know if their dealer is getting any allocations ??

Please post # of allocations your dealer received and build dates if available.

I assume when you say the allocations are spoken for that as #1 you are the lead speaker. If so, congrats!

I am 4th on the list at Centre Porsche Québec and they told me not to worry. No allocations or built dates so far but with a high attrition level on usual deposits they said I might have to built my GT3 sooner than expected......????? Who knows?

I had my car in last week for an oil change and spoke to my sales associate. Still no allocations as yet.

Thanks Mike . It's nice to know I definitely have an allocation and yes, I have the #1 allocation . Next will be getting the build dates which I hope will either be December or early 2014 so I can get it in time for summer 2014.

Haven't heard anything from Norden, I'll give them a call tomorrow to see what's up.

One thing I'de like to add here. When I gave my deposit just 3 weeks ago and got #4 on the list at my dealership I asked the sales manager about allocations. He told me that PAG was going to allow final allocations around end Q3 beginning Q4 when they have a full picture of demand for GT3s. I also asked him if there was talk of a limited number of builts and he replied, ''none so far''.

Just received an email from Norden Porsche in Edmonton, Alberta stating that they just got their first allocation for a December 2013 build. I have one month to spec out the car and place my order.

Decisions, decisions.

I'm undecided at the moment, my 2011 GT3 was Red and I thought is was stunning, beautiful car from any angle.

I'm also thinking Sapphire Blue Metallic but just not sure. The car will be lightly option, I'm not much for all the bells & whistles, defiantly no wart on the dash this time.

I will configure the car many time before I decide, I need to keep resale in mine since I have car ADD issues.

What colour are you thinking for your GT3?

My current thinking is either White, Red or Dark Blue Metallic. Can't make up my mind either. This has been the toughest choice for any car I have never bought.

Still don't have a build date yet. Will check tomorrow..
