Anything I should change? Dealer wants build specs this week. Tried to do rivera blue but do not want to wait for custom colors to become available.

Cool, I did not know you can save the specs.

Your car, build it anyway you like

FWIW, I would skip on the painted stuff inside and PCCB if you are going to track it a lot.
It will be a very pretty comfy car :-)

I am now really not sure what I am going to do. Like the Agate Grey Metallic and the two blues as well. Need to go into the dealer and check out the color samples. Colors don't show well on the config. I may track it a few times, but I have a bunch of race cars, so will not be a designated "track day car." If I go white, painted interior. Gray or blue, carbon interior.

what to change? skipping all tongue in cheek comments about rest of 991 specific stuff I would wait for seats to accept 6pt harness. I think they will offer some later on, it was always possible.

PS. I am not Rad but for $170K I would buy a used scud. there are some available out there.

Once again, don't need this a track car, so no need for a 6-point. Also, already have a 430 spider, so even though I like the scud a lot, I am waiting for 458 scud.

My car is spec'd out for almost $30K less than yours, and some of the options you've chosen aren't ones I would want (or want to pay for), but it's obviously completely up to you so I won't presume to say which ones I think you should change. It will be a really nice car. Congrats!

Hi Michael,

Well you have a special 997.2 GT3RS in yellow..not many made in this colour. I know some people like white..but white will be the no1 colour sold for 991 GT3...I bet you..so if I was you I would take something that would be more rare..just my opinion. The proposed grey looks good I would say..

Otherwise congrats to the car..that got hammered by us a lot here..sorry

Couldn't view porsche config on my iPhone, but assuming you have a ton of exclusive parts on there.

I tried to keep mine within 145k, and after obligatory items like a lift kit, and the red stitching (which I think really makes Interior look great with a red car) I was Basically done.

Is there a generally accepted optimum range or spec for the amount of options/ msrp on a gt3 when we go to sell these cars?

Yes. After some more thought car will most likely be agate gray or sapphire blue. Tried very hard for the riviera, but have given up at this point. Also, have decided as I want track this car, I am droppibg the PCCB's and making interior carbon instead of painted. Price is now 156 k.

Does your dealer have his allocations? Requiring you to spec it before the end of the week seems to imply he does. That would be a surprise to many of us who are number one or two on our dealer list and we have not heard anything.

BTW, if you have 6 racing cars why another? The 991TTS may be something you would want to consider.

I'm not seeing a need for the $265 built-in cell phone plus another $665 for a cordless handset. Also, the sport chrono clock ($400 plus another $500 for the white dial) is unlikely to be of much use, if any.

Just my opinions.

Suprisingly, this will be one of my least track focused cars. Also, it's a 918 VIP program allocation, so the schedule is different than the regular allocations.
