"Caught" "Testing"
"Caught" by the (Porsche Marketing) cameraman while in a crouch, raising up, framing up and around the bush, and constantly pulling focus/zooming the whole time, followed by another perfectly timed "catch", same camera technique of the same cars pulling into the coffee shop.
That is some tough "testing" on those gritty ragged streets with their vicious steep curbs.
Perfect C&C thread.
Nobody thinks through the whole façade deeply enough to be offended?

Offended by a shaky video of some cars? Disdainful because the OP titled his thread "caught testing" instead of "ride to the cafe"? LOL.
I'll think I'll save my outrage for something important.

especially when they mounted that steep curb showing the front lift's truck-like clearance!

If any of that video was CGI or done with prepped stunt cars, I'd be pissed. If not, it's very informational and welcome.

I love a good conspiracy theory as much as the next guy, but if that vid was done by professionals from "Porsche Marketing", Porsche had better get themselves some new "professonals".

I wouldn't go as far as saying it was professionally done, obviously not... But staged, it would certainly seem so... How many guys randomly sit behind a bush on the side of a street with their DSLR only to have a 5 car convoy of 991 GT3s come by, not once but twice...

Besides, what exactly is the outrage about? Even in the extremely unlikely event this shaky, amateurish effort came from "Porsche Marketing", were people misled by it in some way? Did it depict false information or show the cars doing something they can't really do? OMG, "Porsche Marketing" has produced low quality fake spy footage of cars driving through a town. How dare they manipulate innocent, gullible consumers like that.
To think that is worthy of taking offense, is silly.

They have to do something to keep the buzz going about the car until the release. And with that many cars in a convoy, there is a good chance they have been to wherever they went before and journalists know where to be and when to be there. Any number of scenarios could have led to that. And even if they did stage it, not much of a big deal IMO.
Leave the guys that are looking forward to the car some threads to enjoy. lol.
