Pretty cool piece on "The Grid" this week on the RSR, along with C.J.'s race team.

That's it, need to rearrange my weekend plans to make sure I get to Silverstone for the FIA WEC tomorrow. Be interesting to see how the Factory Porsche holds up against the Factory Aston Martins and Factory supported Ferraris...

Holy crap, that has to be one of the few "infomercials" that induce goosebumps!

Thanks for posting this. I have been salivating over pics of this car today - what a piece of machinery. Can't wait to see it on some US televised racing.

Qualified 3rd & 4th for tomorrow's WEC 6hr Silverstone race. About a second off the Aston Martins and ahead of the Fiats.

But it also has a clutch pedal, no pdk and the old dinosaur engine no longer good enough for those hardcore C&C racers... So what?

Sorry for sounding like a broken record but unlike yourself who is anti-stick, the manual guys don't object to paddles, just to the fact that we no longer get the option to go slower with a manual... A priviledge given to all buying any other 911 variant...

I am not anti-stick. Love them myself, my 997 is a manual. Regarding the engine, time and tech move forward, eventually the Mezger was going to be replaced.
