Sport Auto stated this was the predicted time. However, one can assume this time was not drawn out of a hat. There has to be some basis for it especially if Sport Auto is going to allude to it.

Hehe, the infamous Hockenheim Conspiracy plotted by stiff suits in the Porsche marketing zepartment. We all know that list is really topped by manual cars mainly from the US. The new GT3 would not survive one lap around Hockenheimring; PDK overheating at the end of the Parabolika, cupholders flying all over the cabin at the Mercedes arena and the Rear Wobbly Steering malfunctioning at the apex of the Sachs Kurve. Game over.

I don't believe any lap time until the car is on the track. I won't fully 100% believe until I see what the car does at Sebring for lap times with a good driver.

Agreed. Porsche needs to do their own local market work. Get JVO or Pobst in the car and have a couple of reference benchmark cars handy (RS 4.0, 12C, 458, ZR1, C7, Viper "***** out" edition, whatever ...) for some back to back, same day, same driver, same tire (ish) and generally get a pro or acknowledged "not a shill" driver to turn some real laps at Laguna Seca and hopefully they say "electric steering does not suck a dead dingo's dong" and "rear steer isn't in it for a three way with the dingo and the electric steering." Simple marketing really.

Last week, we had a reference to a 'Whale *****' by Reter! It was corrected to a 'Walrus *****' by Savy! And now we are on to an unnatural act with a 'dead dingo's dong'! There is a bit of wanton disrespect here for animal 'private parts' and Peta may have to be alerted to get seriously involved!
