My comment was fair and factual and carefully written to avoid personal attack. You do seem to enjoy the personal attack however don't you? You made them several times now.

Questioning perceptions is healthy. Sheep get shorn.

The people I've spoken to from PCNA say "NO WAY"
You spoke to one of the "girls"? They are clueless and know nothing.
Hope your right and I'am wrong, but I don't think so.....

Yes, from your perception the post was fair and factual. That does not mean it actually was fair and factual. Which is the problem with these forums, or written communication in general. Hence you have interpreted my posts as personal attacks. Not only once, but several times.

However, I actually did not think your initial post was meant to be taken seriously. You did spend your spare time wondering who I am? That is both charming and worrying at the same time. Mostly the latter.

Let's leave it here

I know where you are going with this but I won't bite. Melissa Witek, as we all know, is a 'Customer Consultation Specialist' with 'Porsche Exclusive' based in New York. She is a professional and no one should let her good looks or beauty pageant background detract from the constructive job she is trying to do right now for PCNA and their US customers! We should all strongly support her re: that endeavor.

Your posting history on RL starts 3-5-13, 26 days ago. Combined with reading your posts, many condescending and derisive, I know I've formed my opinion and I'm happy to leave it here with this aired out.

Hey Eduardo!
My conversation with one of their reps was more like an argument,I assure you! She was getting pissed with me contradicting her!
I know there's a big possibility she's not well informed or telling me this just to get rid of me,but this is what she's told me : '' contact Melissa, these seats can be ordered through Porsche Exclusive ''....if she's lying, then I'm lying too,but I did my best...

Neanicu: My post was just a preemptive one for my friend Mooty and his request for 'pics' of Melissa! We have gone down that sultry road before and I don't think it's 'fair play'!

I am sure the NY Auto Show rep told you that. Neither Sascha nor Melissa will back her up on that claim, I am sure! We know that the airbag 'sport bucket' seats will not be 'innitially' available on the MY2014 991 gt3...nor any other US Porsche model. It would not be the first time a Porsche representative at an Auto Show is not totally up to speed, so don't worry!

Wow, I hope there is light at the end of the tunnel, but still ridiculous that they are not a no cost option or even vice versa, they should be standard and comfier seats should be optional.

Unfortunately I'm sure you are right, you always seem to know the facts. I say good call on the preemptive strike against Mooty, he may consult her and end up with a $600K GT3.

Darn it!! My devious plan was countered by one of Porsche's nefarious airheads. Well played. You can't fight stupid. Curse you, Porsche. You win this round...

Thanks for trying, neanicu.

Company cars? Sorry, couldn't resist.

But I have to agree with savy.. I've wondered the same thing.

And we have owned a variety of Porsche GT cars. And many of us have actually hands-on worked on them. Bottom line: forum voices associated known, experienced people.

Many of us also know how infested other forums are with either no-experience fanboys and/or Porsche associated lackeys. How do any of us know who StirlingMoss is? Guerrilla marketing is surely something The Great Porsche Marketing Machine engages in. Let me be crystal clear- I am not accusing StirlingMoss of anything, because I know nothing about what the facts are about him/her/them. But I am saying what a lot of people have been thinking for a while.

Another graduate of the Joseph McCarthy school of character assassination?

SM, you did not answer the track experience question. None of your previous cars were particularly track worthy, so I can get it that the 991GT3 is great for you and the masses. Savy's explanation would make sense too and sorry but it crossed my mind. If you never track, its less logical.
We're just a pissed Porsche minority that they may lose as customers and it maybe a big win for Porsche at least short term.

The 991GT3 will suffer the same depreciation cliff, get the 3.8RS for best value, the 4.0 to beat 991GT3's...

We know it bad on price, no manual, no seats. They can fix all of that before the 991RS arrives or in the 991.2GT3 or both. If it breaks on track, they will be doomed with by us little group of track junkies. I'm holding my breath and I am not brave enough to step into the $140K unproven track car pool...

Maybe he was hinting it will run 24hours of the Ring.. That would be something, but I doubt marketing would risk such an unproven venture. It would very much impress me!

While (no doubt) McCarthy was a douche, you do know he was right, though?
If not, look up "Venona" when you get a chance - it was highly under-reported on after it was revealed.
