Black glossy wheels will be an option in September. Those who want a front lifter may delay their order by three months.

Easy to talk trash, much harder to follow up on it. Let's see you pass him in a PDK GT3 before you act like it's a given.... Any of you pdk guys for that matter, let's see some videos. Lap times, ANYTHING.

But I'm sure I'll get what I always get, crickets, from the people who talk evolution and performance. Nothing to show for it...... I honestly don't get that. Many guys driving 20 seconds slower per lap than what their car will do, saying they just do it for fun, yet talking about max performance like they actually plan to use it......

I would never buy a p-car with a PDK. I'm old school. I like to be involved. That said, I've driven a 991 S PDK on the track. It's amazing technology. A Porsche instructor told me ALL the instructors are faster when driving the PDK. While Peter may be fast, he'd probably be faster in a PDK car. Less fun, but likely faster.

You obviously have never spent a lot of time in a paddle shift car.

Porsches standard pdk paddles have very long throws that negatively affect the driving experience if you are driving the car in manual mode.

My 2011 e 63 has very short paddle throws that works very well with the ignition retarding the e 63 's engine does when shifting manually.

It gives you that "pop, pop, pop" sensation AND sound that's what in part makes for an enjoyable driving experience when driving paddle shift.

If you have ever driven a 2 stroke motor cross bike with a dry clutch that enables you to shift unde full power without pulling the clutch you will begin to understand the gratifying feeling this provides.

Manual lovers go ahead and laugh all you want.

Grew up racing motox. RM80 to RM125 to YZ250. Being able to bang up shifts under load w/o a clutch pull w slight throttle breath, and downshifts at will. . . awesome. Loved those bikes especially the zukes

I obviously have spent plenty of time in several paddle shift cars. . . .and the throw on the joystick/paddles couldn't/didn't make any difference.
