Default Why would the 991 GT3 have a switchable exhaust ?

Is that what this is on the pic below ? Is this for those tracks with special noise regs

Probably yes, tracks like Lime Rock have ridiculous noise restrictions. I have seen guys sent home because their aftermarket exhausts were too loud.
