Default As they say on Shark Tank - "I'm Out"

No manual, PTV plus, rear steering - it is even worse than I could have imagined. It will be faster but so what. This kind of tech is great for the turbo but not the GT3 imo.

Way more "in" than "out" in my view....

based on all the gizmos i would probably opt for the 991 cup car over the 991 gt3 street car if my sole use was to track it on the weekends

I have to say I don't get it. Do you want them to build a new car that's the same as the old car? Why not just by one of a zillion 997s instead?

I don't get it either (applies to most threads here in the 991 GT3 section).

me too I think I will get a RS America. No fancy pants water cooled motor for me anymore.. I need to make a note in my Palm Pilot to buy a newspaper to look in the classified section.

I am on the fence, but I will not buy a first model year 991 GT3. There are far too many changes to the car, and there will be reliability issues.

Wow, is all the 991 GT3 section about is who doesn't want one? It will sell and Porsche will make a profit. In the hands of people it will grow on the masses and be a success.

You probably believe hybrid technology has no place in the "pure" GT3 too because at some point it's going to go that route. Advancements will be made in a direction that leaves the 'analog' crowd behind and takes into account the 'digital' age who will grow into affording these automobiles.

I've got to wonder if Germans sit around and lambast about this every time a new model comes out as those in NA do?

Hahaha, very well put!

Yes, sadly you have to filter out a lot of assumptions and unjustified negative sentiment when reading the GT3 section. But once in a while someone throws in a factual post
