OK. Just got back from the dealer.

Despite committing to guards, in the back of my head I kept thinking black with pccbs. But after 5 911's in black, and seeing pics online of black 991 GT3s including the video shot recently of a black on display, I was left underwhelmed. I think it's b/c the black diffuser accents disappear on black, and lack of chrome/silver highlights. Perfect if you are looking for stealth. OTOH, I like the regular 991 in black.

So back to guards. Looking at two 991s in guards, I can only imaging how crisp the gt3 will look in red. It's gonna be great. Tho my wife is already giving me a hard time b/c she considers red so 'lookat me'. But I think thats *nothing* compared to speed yellow on my last gt3.

Got also to see the black headlights. I'm going to take a second look but they seemed to be a 'wash' to me. Not sure I really liked one better than the other, though the comparo was on black cars.

Dumping extended leather.

I've ordered black, with black wheels and black lights. Also gone for the PCCB and I think/hope the yellow brakes will look good with the black look.

I think the yellow calipers will look great with black.

I ordered sapphire blue with black wheels & lights. Speced it out a 1 1/2 months ago, but like everyone else production was delayed. I was told last week that the changable cutoff date was the end of Nov. So I was still deciding if I really wanted blue or maybe red or white. I checked with my dealer yesterday....my car is locked, changed to status 210. So, no more agonizing.. my decision is made!

If your in a similar situation...Better decide soon!

Completely agree! Is PTS available?

Maritime blue would also rock

just checking my understanding; you mean that you can currently spec a car with PTS (as opposed to Mexico Blue being an approved PTS color, which of course it is).

Thanks

Argh, selecting color is painful. Deciding between yellow, white, red, and black. Black probably won't happen as I want to see the car's lines and black hides them. Red probably won't happen as I like some contrast with my tail lights and red obscures them. So down to yellow and white. I love white but all my other cars are white currently... and as CAlexio pointed out, red with yellow might be weird (for the red calipers an red tail lights). I don't like white tail lights. And I was leaning towards steel brakes. Yes, maybe painting the calipers is the only way to go.. ugh.

Zero911.. The dark blue may be a consideration.. Not a bright bold color, but very beautiful and looks great with red details. I won't suggest brown as I want mine to be the only one in the US ;-D
