Are Sport Bucket Seats available in NA/US, now that the GT3 is released?

I've heard rumors to the contrary, because they still don't meet crash or safety regulations in the US.

Has anyone heard otherwise?

GT2 Sport Buckets are options n the 997 cars and meet safety standards...what wouldn't they be an option for the 991GT3?

There is a picture of them on the GB site but not on the US site.

Because for some time you've been able to add them to type 991s in Europe, where as the US still doesn't have them as an option. Last time I talked to a dealership they weren't up to snuff for crash regs in the US (either an exception expired, or standards toughened) and the thought is they might get re-certified when the GT3 hits.

However, GT3 is here, and no word on GT2 seat availability.
