Funny, at least for the Canadian configurator (haven't looked at others) that the PDK is a selectable option (even though it's the only option) and, included in the sport crono package is this:

"Performance oriented shift assist display (manual transmission)
in the instrument cluster"

enjoy my RS for the next few years
See the reliability of the 991GT3
Test drive a used example in a few years & if I love it pick up one in the US.
