I am in the "I will wait for a few reviews - Evo, Chris Harris, Sutcliffe, you know, the usual suspects and decide" category. Rather be in, "I will drive it myself and decide", but not sure when that will happen.

On the list for an RS- gives me more time to dink around with my plain vanilla GT3.
Won't like it tho when the first guy to put slicks on his new GT3 blows by me....

I'm liking the prospects of picking up older RS cars for cheap as time goes on...with all the gizmos I'm constantly asking myself "why don't I just go raw with the 997RS...ain't it enough for me?" then I get in my mclaren and think- man what if porsche TRIES to just make the most amazing technology available...in a GT3...it would be really great.
so I'll wait- probably some time in 2014 I'll end up with a .1RS or a .2RS or if the reviews and test drive are soooooo amazing then I'll get one of these newfangled space ship PDK GT3 things

The 991 gt3 will be highly flicked IMO... Technology loaded as it is, it may be fast but for how long before things start to go wrong... I'll stick with my 997.2 (with planned CL delete) and let the early adopters do the testing for me...
A newer generation gt3 or RS will only be considered for ownership after its guts are in a race car or after one of you guys beats it at the track every week for 4-5 years with no signs of failure (e.g. CL debacle with the current cars that has been handed down to the new cars)

Put a deposit on an RS last summer, but I learned my lesson venturing into Fiats with regards to paddles. For street use, it became dull. No plans to part with my MT RS. Maybe I need to follow some of you guys, like Nizer and get a cup for racing and DE. I'm a hack but what the heck. I'm afraid to see what the 991 RS will cost...base $160-$170?
