I agree white is probably likely the launch colour and the best option if nothing else stands out.

PTS is slow. For RHD customers there will be very few of these cars built (probably only 250 ish worldwide). Markets like Australia may get 25-30 units and New Zealand perhaps only 8, UK 130, SA 20 etc Ordering RHD and PTS is a dangerous game of patience on a limited production variant and probably why so few RHD PTS cars arrive down under.

Mdrums. So true! Crazy thing is there will likely be upgrades available via afteermarket tuners before the cars are even customer delivered. Id bank on a Akro titanium exhaust system for one!

Again, as I said much earlier in this thread, Porsche unfortunately seems to think its customer base (and this includes the GT3) is primarily comprised of poof poseurs, and is designing cars for that base.

Not totally. Porsche actively markets the "Steering +" option as useful for parking, which came directly from these focus groups.

Probably the same focus groups who owned Turbos, and complained they couldn't buy a 997 GT3 because they can't drive a stick, or the pedal was too heavy.

You can honestly VW and their 50.1% majority stake in Porsche, for what we see now, and will continue to see, plain and simple.

If both the 991 GT3 and Turbo come only with pdk and GTR like assists. Why go with a GT3, other then it will be priced less?

Looking at the curb weight of the 991 C4S, and adding say 40kg for turbos. They weight difference will be not be a huge difference and it would be the lightest in the history of the twin Turbo's. The 991 Turbo should blow the GT3 away on the track and on the street.

For daily driving, assuming both Turbo and GT3 are PDK only, the Audi R8 (V8 w/ 6spd manual), is the car to have for the enthusiast at only $114k.

Or maybe a base 991-S w/ 7spd manual at $100k, minus the ghey 20" factory dubs.

Loaded optioned cars are a waste, just more electronic **** to go wrong.
