Exactly as I expected it to be, I don;t find it to be a harsh ride. Yes, it less comfortable that some of my other cars for long journeys, but not a problem.

I found my RS .1 and .2 to be more compliant and easier to do road trips in vs my .1 and .2 standard GT3
I actually have done 6+ hrs in a day in my RS and love it. Traded my GT3 in, it just felt stiffer.

stiff?
just get a cayenne.
none of my RS are stiff and some are on 800lbs springs driving through pot hold SF.

6ft long USB cable and a small laptop to switch maps. Countless hours of tuning and 2 drivers providing inputs.
I would like a wireless mini-usb adapter that could connect via Bluetooth to the MS Surface, so I could upload maps from outside the car. Uploading a map takes about 2 minutes.

Ride is stiff but compliant , no issue with that , my issue is with the 918 bucket seats ; give an hour in the car for me and I have a stiff back and start squirming in my seat to try and find an alternative pressure pointer on my back .
As for the ride , I have had 2 C63 ‘s and I can tell you that the GT3rs.2 is stiffer but the dampers are set in a way that you feel the ride is not harsh , on the opposite the C63’s had comfortable seats but the dampers were set that you could feel the bumps on your back continuously and you can feel this is a very harsh ride , I have also experienced that with an AMG GTR.
For the RS.2 , hats off to Porsche how they have tuned the suspension and dampers and I definitely could drive it everyday if I wanted to with no issue

I had a .1RS which I sold just over a year ago. I just bought a delivery miles .2RS and was wondering about the ride stiffness - after all spring rates are massively increased. I did a 200 mile round trip this weekend after delivery early Saturday morning and I found the suspension to be quite different to what I expected. It is, without question, not harsh. In fact, it seems more manageable on a road trip than the .1RS. It is ‘bouncier’ (not a very technical term) and the car tends towards German style under-damping, but for what I can see is good reason. I can fully understand why it is quicker around the ring.
The interesting challenge for the driver is to learn its movements because over undulating roads you need to be able to predict the way it wants to deal with the surface to give ultimate confidence. This should make for an entertaining ‘get-to-know-me’ period and once there, a level of intimacy that will be really rewarding. I plan to take her on a road trip with friends to Germany - visiting the Porsche museum among other things. Some will have Pistas (I have a number of Ferraris but Pista not arrived yet so taking a Porsche to its home seemed fitting). I doubt the RS will easily keep up with those Pistas on a road because of the relative lack of mid-range torque, very useful stuff that when you want to drive quickly on a road.
So far though, the .2 is a really good improvement on the .1 as far as I can tell with such limited seat time. And the colour I chose, guards red, just looks awesome on the RS. I previously had UV and was tempted this time by LG but glad my wife talked me out of it - I fell in love with this car in GR when it was unloaded off the trailer.

The .2 3RS is stiff, but I find it to ride really well and it handles uneven roads great. I actually find it to be more composed and comfortable than my .2 GT3, despite being stiffer.
