Haha cute kid. Porsche owners are a really cool group of people I am seeing. I am pretty cool with people eating in the car etc, and I let my girl drive it but I can't say I'd feel comfortable with her driving it in every situation though... I'll be honest.

Did you just call your wife "girl" man what is this the 1950s???
Relax I'm just joking man. The question was not meant to be so serious, and I think most people kind of get that it was not that serious of a question but just a discussion.
I'm not even married. I let my girlfriend drive the GT3 and I was pretty nervous for a variety of reasons and thought the whole experience was kind of funny.
I was married years ago and well, my ex-wife did not care to drive any car I cared to buy and the one car she did drive she crashed it into the house and knocked down a column of bricks holding up the garage.... But yea the post is not meant to be that serious.

I think the last word in your post goes against the intent of the original question. Just making light conversation and sharing a funny experience I had letting my girlfriend drive my GT3.

P.S. You have good taste in specs for your GT3

Honest question... why not the RS? It’s not anymore rare than the next car, and definitely not as fast as your Mac.

Of course, I mean, it is an automatic after all.

I’ve even let her drive it a few times without me in it, I’m sure my blood pressure spikes a bit but she’s taking it easy anyway.

If you’re a Porsche guy/car enthusiast and you don’t marry someone into cars you’re asking for trouble. The only rule is that her cars get modded as well as mine. She also knows the build is never done and every two hour project takes 4.

MY Wife has (0) interest in cars. She has her Mercedes that I end up maintaining because she could careless.

She does drive my M3 every once in awhile. She hated it, at first, but now loves it because she thinks it is really fast. She actually looks really good in it

She has no interest in driving a Manual so "No Soup for Her".

LOL I think my wife could teach most of you how to drive a Porsche - seriously on top of that she would probably offer the option to have a go at a three day event on one of her "ponies" - hint, don't ever accept that challenge.

They either have the skill or don't or don't want the skill and would rather do something else, my wife started in karts when she was 8 oh and she drives my 720s more than I do.

The world has changed and is more interesting for it

These are great cars, but honestly they are very easy to drive in manual or PDK form - these aren't units with a dog box and heavy duty clutch and light weight fly wheel

We only have one car. So yah.

I am told suspension is "too stiff" -- sparkling water spills ensue.

Oh, and "engine has quite the range -- I just leave it in second most of the time"
