Anyone Else Let the Wifey Drive Their GT3???

My wife has zero interest in driving my car... She prefers her Mazda... She doesn’t have the car bug.
Right now she just sees it as “what else could we have used that money for”.

I don't have a GT3 yet. My wife doesn't drive my two Porsches because she doesn't know how to drive a manual and has no desire too......I can't relate at all. For some reason, she is very happy with her 2010 RAV4?????

Honestly..... is this the 1950's??? Not only does my wife drive our GT3 but she tracks our GT3 with me. We have an autocross next week together and we have an HPDE at Watkins together in September. For a forum of car guys Im shocked at how boorish the responses are. Do none of you have wives that have any driving skills at all and if not why are not you teaching them? Seriously-

seriously though, the question was how many dudes LET their wives drive. It’s one thing to keep your wife from driving your car and another if you let her and she has no interest. Good on you for having a girl that’s into driving!

Drive it? Mine hasn’t even ridden in it! Similar to others above, my wife doesn’t have the car bug and has no interest. She prefers my truck or her van.

My wife has no interest...
teaching her would be selfish - it would be for me. Not her. she has her her own hobbies. (Some of which i have no interest in).
I think it’s a good thing that we each have our own interests. No need to share everything.

I let her only if she lets me drive her CGT.

My wife has no interest in anything in the garage besides her volvo xc90. She drove one of my LFA’s once for two miles. Think she gets nervous. Is what it is. She doesn’t have the “sports car/need for speed” bug.

GF prefers uber and public transport. This after I got her the vehicle she wanted and fixed it up for her. She seems really appreciative and won’t let me sell it, but I am the only one who drives it. She has ridden in the GT3 a few times. She usually just falls asleep (apparently the LWB are comfortable for her too). If we go someplace, I usually take “her” vehicle even though I drive.
