Punt on that RS and buy another. It'll be cheaper.

You would be better off finding a car with the AC and radio.

I looked into this exact scenario on a 997.2 RS and quickly discovered it was going to be insanely expensive. About triple the delta in pricing between the car and other like examples with the AC / radio installed.

Check with the dealer. May not be easy at all.

On the 997.2 it was belts, pulleys, sensors, ECU programing, the actual compressors and blower fans, plumbing... I never even got to the radio investigation.....

As an alternative to the AC, just install a coolshirt.

Nothing beats 2/70 AC. Roll down 2 windows and drive 70 mph.

My dad only ever had 4/55 AC.

Ding ding. We have a winner.

Unless you’re only driving it to C&C’s; in which case, do not show up in a coolshirt.

IMO, in 10 years I’m going to kick myself for not getting one of these cheap RS’s with radio and AC delete.

That would be awesome to show up at a Porsche & Pastries event with a cool shirt on!
