Default Lime Rock Sound Booth Location?

Does anyone know where on the sound meter is on the Lime Rock track? And is there only one? Their sounds limits are apparently very strict, and I have someone looking to program one of my Track Nanny's to bring the db's down on a GT3... Thanks all!

Don't know where formal sound booth is, but often have neighbor come out with her own equipment to test decibel level.

No booth at Lime Rock. They do mobile testing, inside and outside the track. Tends to be the result of a complaint or a car that is noticeably louder than everything else out there causing them to go test for sound. Experience shows, you canĺt avoid the sound check at Lime Rock. Best hope is to do events that are mid week which reduces the chance of complaints, or choose to go on one of their very few loud times.

They normally check at start/finish line.

Typical lib mentality. Build homes by race track. Then complain about noise.

Comical.

This is exactly why Bridgehampton was closed in the '90s.

Any truth to the sound booth being located at the start / finish line? Does anyone have any experience with a stock GT3 / GT3RS configuration where you just lift across the sound booth?

Based on searching through RL, Lime Rock doesn't seem as strict as Mont Tremblant / Laguna Seca.

Most of those home were already there when the race track was put in...most of the homes are quite old around Lime Rock.

It's more of a move to a home by the race track issue. I'm sure there could still be some folks who lived there already when the track was put in, I would expect they would be much older now and hearing not so good so they probably aren't the ones complaining.

They need a bunch of enthusiasts to buy the homes around the track and let them enjoy the sounds of nature before 9 am and the sounds of gas fueled combustion between 9-6.
