Individual Throttle Body (separate throttle for each cylinder, last seen in road 911's in model year 1973 but used continuously in top racing NA versions of 911). Gives improved throttle response and more power (to offset losses from particle filters in this case).

Thanks Grant and Wow!
Where does this info come from that cars with particulate filter are with ITB?

So it means that then I remove original exhaust and replace it with Akra Evo Race then result is "more power and more complete car" (thaks for Akra. exhaust & ITB)

We're still wondering how the ECU will be coded to prevent removal of the particle filters in Europe and the filter-emulators in the US...

Ummmm, that a pretty soft lame-o-ish engine start if it's the last batch of GT3RS (ITB/PF)
Mine fires up with an angry crackle and burble that sounds like victory! not apology

It is indeed a RS... I think it’s kinda soft too, but perhaps it’s related to the fact that the car is still in transport mode from factory. Won’t take revs, sound flaps can’t be activated etc... so I guess the start up is somewhat crippled - compared to what it will be.... we’ll see :-)

In the mean time: I found a video likely related to a batch 2 RS: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZDYXJjeaSUw

Sound seems OK, unfortunately there's a windy environment.

Have a nice weekend!
Black with aurum wheels looks amazing

thanks for posting. I'm looking forward to the full review. It will be a beast for sure, just different (in some ways better; perhaps worse in some ways). Porsche wouldn't release an RS that didn't live up to expectations. congrats!

Good point, didn't know there was a transport mode, that would explain it...

My Audi RS7 has exhaust valves electrically controlled. You disconnect them and the ECU throws an error.

My GT3RS has exhaust valves controlled by vacuum lines. You disconnect them, and no errors are thrown by the ECU.

We have no idea (no one does so far), what would happen when the 991.3 doesn't find the bulky particle filters, and the electrical valves are disconnected, because the entire system has been replaced with an aftermarket set of pipes.

I haven't seen the first aftermarket Porsche 991 GT3 exhaust system with electrical valves, they are valve-less or they have vacuum controlled valves. Eventually those aftermarket systems with electrical valves will show up (at a price).

I hadn't noticed the naca ducts on the speedster but just looked at my photos and noticed they are on the speedster too on both sides by the opfs

Not sure they are related to the OPF, maybe it's an improvement in aerodynamics and diffuser function that they discovered with development of speedster and passed it on to the RS?
