Default Go Home, Captain. You're Drunk!

My GT3RS is on the Glovis Safety. Watched it go from Germany to like 5 other countries before going through the Panama Canal. Stopped in San Diego and now it's supposed to be headed north to me here in SF. But instead, the ship's been adrift for the past two days.

Maybe the crew is taking a break or something? But I figure they'd be anchored near the shore or at a dock...

Any theories?

They are killing time. It's scheduled to hit Benicia on 2019-07-07 23:00. There's no way it takes 3 days to go up the coast of CA. Must be no room in port if they are early.

That was my guess too, but why not kill time closer to the destination? Instead they're drifting farther south lol. I figured they'd head north and anchor in the bay. Must be something to do with regulations.

They are waiting to surf the tsunami from the earthquakes. Part of their green fleet program to save on oil.

Looks like the captain might've sobered up.

While I doubt that actually happened, thanks for mentioning it! Info about Cortes Bank is an interesting read.

The good news is, once it gets to port (Benicia?), it's usually very quick to the dealer. I think mine was at the dealer the day after docking in Benicia.

I remember the feeling. I had my M4 built and ordered from factory and the anticipation was a killer as the car moved through the build process then on to a train to the port in Europe then watching it sail across the Atlantic till finally docked then transferred to the dealer till finally able to pickup.
The waiting was agonizing...
Looks like u are very close now congrats...and enjoy
