Rebadging a TOURING
 

Has anyone replaced the PORSCHE on the rear bumper with TOURING in the same size and font to closely replicate the OEM badge. I just finished installing PPF and the rear bumper is naked and I was going to re install the PORSCHE emblem, but am wondering if anyone has done this. Not that I’m extremely proud of the model, but everyone recognizes the car as a Porsche. And where can you custom make such emblem? Any thoughts is appreciated.

I ordered two sets of script from Carbone recently for my 993. One was flawless. The other was junk. Just letting you know.

You can order some cool stuff from BumperPlugs too.

And try to find the mounting template or have the dealership do it.

Leave it clean.

I like the idea of deleting the PORSCHE and having "touring" in cursive like it is on the rear emblem.

It looks very naked. Need something there.

Yep, mine was naked for a week after PPF and I thought it looked odd. Went to a cars and coffee that way and some kid came up shooting it with a gopro saying "cool! This is a GT3 TOURING and it has a factory letter delete!!!" I didn't have the heart to tell him...

FWIW, I took it to the dealer to get them to put the new letters on. It is perfect and there is no way in hell I would have been able to get it right myself.

Seems strange. It's an option package.
Would you also put 'PCCB' or 'LED Headlights' on the rear? Of course 'Full Bucket Seats' goes without saying.

I'd just go with GT3 and leave it at that.
