I went with the clean look as well. Wanted to let the light ivory do the talking. If someone does not know the car is a PORSCHE, I do not care.

*That* is the best look. Now, what can you tell us about that license plate frame?

Massive laser shifter there... and you know how CA rules are on those.... perhaps we have an outlaw amongst us!

EDIT: Just saw the original post and it has full defeat in compliance with CA law,
didn't mean to seem critical rather than envious

Would you also put 'PCCB' or 'LED Headlights' on the rear? Of course 'Full Bucket Seats' goes without saying.

I'd just go with GT3 and leave it at that.
I think this might be over simplifying it. It is called a GT3 Touring, so Touring is a model designation. As far as options, putting NO LIFT on the rear bumper would be impressive for many reasons.

The license plate frame has a laser jammer integrated into it. My car has fully integrated front and rear laser jammers to block the cop from clocking my speed. I can then defeat the jammer with the touch of a button (two of the blank buttons, under the PSE, are actually functional buttons that shut off the jammer). The point of shutting it off is to prevent the cop from realizing that you have a laser jammer. Once the voice comes on "laser, front" or "laser, rear" I will hit the brakes, hit the defeat device and hopefully avoid getting pulled over. I also have a radar detector, so hopefully I will know to slow down even before they hit me with the laser.

Obviously Porsche viewed things differently as they changed the entire rear badging to suit the touring variant.

This is not even a debate for the 992 as the PORSCHE is integrated into the light. The 992 owners will be stuck with the badging, like it or not.

If that PORSCHE badging is not removable, I'd at least black it out. Way too large and obnoxious for my tastes.

On the other hand, that 911 badge is retro cool IMHO. I'd still black it out.

Of course, your preferences may vary.

992 has a blackout option for Porsche and you can delete “992 carerra 2/4S GTS certified chronometer hybrid turbo” or whatever text they put below or just option 911 as above.

Evilfij - Thanks. I stand corrected. I did not know there was a "PORSCHE" delete for the 992. I'd tick that freebie box for sure if I were spec'ing a 992.

There is no Porsche delete, just a blacked out PORSCHE.

The 992 is fugly. Period. End of sentence. I don't care if it's fast. McLarens are fast and they are fugly too. If 992s are free I will be standing in line for one. They probably won't be, so neither will I...

I think it should not be straight but rather curved like “Porsche” was.
