Default PADM Fault

Anyone here with this issue? Came on after a higher rpm shift.
Seems common on the 991 forum.

Hi JC68

I have been doing a little digging through the internet on your question and issue as I have the same fault come up myself

As goldberg pointed out it will probably be the one or maybe both of your engine mounts, you will need to do a diagnostics to find out which one.

You will have 2 of these mounts on your car and there is a certain part number that has been upgraded since they were originally fitted, these part are covered under the OPC warranty, unfortunately they are quite expensive item no matter what part of the world you come from :-) if you do not have a warranty.

These mounts are also fitted on Caymans and Boxsters if fitted with sports chrono however used on the gearbox as opposed to the engine but do the same task.....

I have even traced down the actual company that produces these items however unfortunately they only supply Porsche directly as know doubt they will have the patent for the item? I have see them supplied by specialists however in my experience they were more costly than the OPC

hope this helps.
